La Posada del Arte, Baños, Ecuador: What's New

Peruvian painter Alberto Soriano (who now lives and paints in Ambato, Ecuador) and his wife Maité prepare "Ceviche Peruano" for La Posada guests. Luis Guevara, owner of Huillacuna Gallery in Baños helps slice the corvina	Ambato artist Galo Chavez presents La Posada owner Jim Redd with a recent painting. La Posada hosted Galo and his wife for overnight accomodations and breakfast during the Zona de Harto Arte. The painting can be seen in Room #11.
November 24, 2006: La Posada hosted a "parillada" on the terraza for our Baños friends and neighbors -- a Thanksgiving barbeque Ecuadorian style! Here painter Alberto Soriano is doing the grilling.	June, 2005: La Posada opens new atrium and rooftop deck. More photos >
December, 2007. Wine-tasting and music at "El Abuelo." Our Apero wine supplier came from Quito to educate our customers into the subtleties of fine wines. Local group Pulso provided the not-so-subtle musical background. The event took place at our alternative location Casa del Abuelo.	November, 2007. La Posada hosts students. During the month of Novmber, hotel students-in-training Maritza (l) and Mayra from Baeza helped our staff and learned La Posada's successful style of customer service and culinary arts.
